Hi HWS colleagues, happy first week of Spring Quarter!

Reserve a chalk square to design as a group or department for CARE's Chalk Walk @ the Bell Tower which begins on Monday, April 28th!

The purpose of Chalk Walk is to create an art display by and for our UCR community in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month in April.  Each year, we are so moved by the collective art created by our UCR students, staff and faculty that honors and uplifts survivors. And it is one (of so many ways) that our HWS colleagues and partners support our office during Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month! Learn more about participating in this year's Chalk Walk:


  *   Open to all student orgs, staff & faculty departments, chapters and/or groups (of 2 people or more) to participate.
  *   All chalk materials, instructions and guidelines will be provided to those who participate.
  *   Pick up chalk supplies on Monday, April 28th.
  *   Groups have Monday, April 28th and Tuesday, April 29th to complete their chalk square.
  *   Chalk Walk will be on display on Wednesday, April 30th which is also Denim Day.
  *   Register and reserve a chalk square (deadline is Wednesday, April 16th or when capacity is reached): tinyurl.com/chalkwalk2025.
