For individual contributors. When trust is low, people become suspicious,
guard communication, speculate, and disengage. As a result, productivity
grinds to a crawl, and the costs—whether social, emotional, or
financial—increase. We call these trust taxes. When trust is high, people
become confident and communication, creativity, and engagement improve. As
a result, productivity speeds up and costs decrease. We call these trust
dividends. Working at the Speed of Trust® helps you strengthen your trust
signals in every relationship to convert trust taxes into trust dividends
and propel yourself and your team further, faster.

New course launched: UC Ethics and Compliance Briefing
<https://uc.sumtotal.host/Core/pillarRedirect?relyingParty=LM&url=core%2Factivitydetails%2FViewActivityDetails%3FActivityId%3D745733%26UserMode%3D0&domain=14>
In this overview, you will learn how to: comply with specific areas of
responsibility covered in our Standards of Ethical Conduct, recognize when
to seek guidance, and identify and report non-compliance.
The new version of the UC Ethics and Compliance Briefing launched on
October 15. The course will now be required biennially of all UC employees,
with the exception of extramurally funded researchers, who take the UC
Ethics and Compliance Briefing for Research instead. Additionally, the
training should be completed by anyone to whom any one of the following
apply:
-
Has access to UC information, especially sensitive or confidential data;
-
Makes, participates in, or influences University decisions; or
-
Supervises another UC employee in any capacity.
UC Learning Center Upgrade: November 14-17
SumTotal Next App. Pilot Phase thru Feb. 2026
Expected to begin Friday evening and finish Saturday morning, the UC
Learning Center will be offline for routine maintenance the weekend of Nov.
14-17.
As part of this upgrade the system vendor is releasing a new mobile app
called SumTotal Next. As this application is in a pilot/test phase and new
to our administrators, our official recommendation is for all users to
continue operating exclusively with the current SumTotal Mobile app. We
anticipate providing updated support materials and formal guidance, with an
official launch in early 2026.
