Dear BFF Colleagues,

We are excited to announce the following speakers for our monthly BFF Seminar Series. Please mark your calendars as these are presentations you don't want to miss out on!

Oct. 12 will feature Dr. Ran Wei and Yujia Zhang with a presentation on "Community Spread and Dynamics of the COVID-19 in Southern California: Effects of Human Mobility and Access to Testing and Care."

Nov. 9 will feature Dr. Erica Heinrich with a presentation on "Population Disparities in COVID-19 Pathogenesis and Long-term Health Outcomes."

Dec. 14 will feature Tania Rodriguez with a presentation on "Identifying Ways to Encourage Skill Learning in Low-income Latinx Older Adults," work done in collaboration with advisor Dr. Rachel Wu.

Our BFF Seminar Series meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 12pm-1pm at our MRB Auditorium and by zoom. Please RSVP your attendance and indicate how you will be participating (in-person or zoom) by sending an email to Maribel Velarde. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
