[hdr-ucr] There's still time to register!: HDR Public Engagement Writing Workshop

Dear HDR at UCR Friends and Associates,

We invite you to participate on a free virtual writing workshop for public engagement pieces (e.g., Op-Eds, blog posts, etc.) on Friday, April 2 from 10:00 am- 4:00 pm. Facilitated by experienced editors, the workshop will offer guidance on how to translate data and/or lived experiences into publishable pieces accessible to a general audience. Due to the format of the workshop, seating is limited, and applications are required to participate, HDR will notify acceptance on March 31. Other details to note:

*Priority will be given to researchers who invite their community partners and non-university collaborators to participate in the workshop. Teams of 2-3 participants are encouraged.

*Applications include a resume/CV, questions about the topic you would like to work on and your research and/or lived experience that will drive your writing.
