Dear All Graduate Students
Marissa with IBM (Consultant - US Federal) and spearheading a mobile application initiative for the UC Student Health and Insurance Program will be on campus on the 5th of December to discuss and ensure the best design and development of a mobile app that would fit the student's needs. The focus group is being held at only certain UC campuses so your participation will be greatly appreciated.
Certain food and beverages for those who attend and participate will be provided. Please RSVP at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JMZQ6P6 if you intend to attend and that can help us in food arrangements.
In a nutshell:
Focus Group: UC Riverside
Date: Wednesday, December 5, 2012
Time: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm (11-12 for Students, 12-1 for Staff)
Location: Campus Health Center Conference Room
Initiative: UC SHIP Mobile Application
Objective: To host a focus group with both students and Student Health staff to gain an understanding of functionalities, features, and requirements a mobile application should possess in order to be adopted and wildly used.
Goal: We are looking for a mobile application design that integrates information from a variety of sources, providing users with the information they need to manage all aspects of their health care in a streamlined, cohesive experience.
What We'll Do:
1) Discuss the mobile application initiative - how it started and where we want to take it.
2) Discuss the application development and maintenance requirements we want to initially target. I have a list of requirements already that I'd like to talk through with each group. We'll put ideas on a board and host a collaborative session about each requirement
3) Respond to a questionnaire
4) Vocalize any thoughts around the SHIP mobile app
5) Enjoy some free food and beverages
Thank you,
Sandeep Dhall
