<span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">Dr. Ángel de Jesus Gonzalez is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Pullias Center for Higher Education at USC working on a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation project examining leadership
in higher education. As a scholar, Dr. Gonzalez’s research agenda includes 1) examining the conditions, experiences, and outcomes in community colleges for minoritized students with an emphasis on LGBTQ+ and Latinx students; 2) Latinx Leadership; 3) racial
equity policy implementation. Prior to this work, Dr. González served as a practitioner for over 8 years in particular within the community college sector and went on to earn an Ed.D. in Community College Leadership from San Diego State University (SDSU).
