<p class="MsoNormal">Dr. Marissiko Wheaton is the Assistant Dean and Director of Scripps Community of Resources and Empowerment (SCORE) at Scripps College — a women’s college in Claremont, California. Prior to this role she worked at the Center for Urban Education
(CUE) and Race & Equity Center at the University of Southern California as a Postdoctoral Scholar. In response to the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, she organized a six-part webinar series which focused on racial equity in virtual classrooms and student support services.

<p class="MsoNormal">Dr. Arely Acuña is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Research Analyst at Cal State Los Angeles. According to LinkedIn, Dr. Acuña is an, “e<span style="color:black">quity-minded educator, scholar, and practitioner with 6+ years of experience
on diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy in higher education. Collaborative leader with a passion for social justice efforts and student empowerment. Overall mission is to equip, advocate, engage, and inspire students, faculty and staff to enhance their

<p class="MsoNormal"><a href="https://race.usc.edu/about-us/#staff-directory" target="_blank">Dr. Adrián Trinidad</a><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Dr. Adrián Trinidad is the Assistant Director for Community College Partnerships for the Race and Equity Center (REC) at USC. As an undergraduate, Dr. Trinidad studied Sociology and minored in Forensics and Criminality. His research interests
are in transfer pathways for racially minoritized community college students, policy implementation, and organizational change in higher education. Prior to USC, he transferred to USC from Los Angeles Trade-Technical College. Having attended a community college,

<p class="MsoNormal"><a href="https://pullias.usc.edu/people/steve-desir/" target="_blank">Steve Desir</a> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p style="margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Steve Desir is a doctoral student in the educational leadership program at the USC Rossier School of Education. Desir is advised by
<a href="http://pullias.usc.edu/julie" target="_blank">Julie Posselt</a>. His research interests include racial equity in college admissions, organizational change and the use of theory-based psychological interventions to facilitate behavioral change. More
specifically, Desir is interested whether insights from social psychology and behavioral economics can be used to improve educational experiences for minoritized groups. Desir earned a master’s degree in education policy and management from Harvard University.
Prior to his studies at Harvard, Desir completed a master’s degree in secondary education from New York University, and earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and political science at Penn State.
