teaching demonstrated by a graduate student as a Teaching Assistant or Associate-In during Spring 2020, Fall 2020, or Winter 2021. While Outstanding Teaching Assistant (OTA) Awards are determined by the department and have as many as 100 winners across campus,
only <b>two</b><span style="background:white"> Distinguished Teaching Awards are given annually.</span> <span style="background:white">Awardees are selected by a committee appointed by Graduate Division based on the strength of nomination letters and the nominee’s
student teaching evaluations during the award period. </span>DTA recipients are recognized with an award and receive a monetary prize.
