REMINDER – Call for Proposals

The Call for Proposals for SOE’s 2nd annual Graduate Research Conference is now open! We welcome work-in-progress and other ongoing research from students across doctoral, master's, teacher credential, and bachelor's programs. This conference offers students a warm and supportive environment to practice presenting research and learning. This year’s theme is Justice and Equity in Education: A Collective Re-Imagining. As scholars who are dedicated to interrogating the educational inequities in PreK-Higher Education, we call to you to bring a collective re-imagining for the many facets of education as we continuously live through the turmoil that come with an ever-evolving political climate.

We encourage your participation to facilitate a holistic understanding of dismantling inequity in schooling. Attached you will find the call for proposals for: 1. roundtables 2. group presentations 3. single presentations and 4. poster presentations. Proposals are limited to 600 words max, and work-in-progress can be presented in any of the four formats. To the best of your ability, please include:


  *   Phenomenon, objective or purpose/Research Questions
  *   Conceptual/Theoretical Frameworks
  *   Data Sources & Methods
  *   Scholarly significance
