[Gradstudents] Accomplishments & Brown Bag Speaker

Dear SOE Graduate Students,

I hope you're having a great summer and squeezing in some rest and relaxation before the Fall quarter starts.

As a part of building community and connection, our office issued our first newsletter in Spring 2024 (attached), which includes an "Accomplishments" section. We want to celebrate all the wins, so we are asking for submissions to share in our upcoming Fall 2024 issue. Photos are welcome! We are also looking for students to present their research at our December Brown Bag. Preliminarily, we are looking at Wednesdays 1:30-3:30pm (in-person). If you can make it and want to share your work with peers, please email me directly. I have personally joined some of these sessions and not only did I learn about new topics in the field of education, but I witnessed presenters and participants share their ideas, ask questions, and even opened a door for research collaborations. If you're not able to make it in the Fall, we have opportunities in Winter and Spring as well.
