Dear SOE Doctoral Students and Faculty,



We are hosting a half-day Wellness Retreat for doctoral students and faculty on May 2nd. This retreat is dedicated to providing doctoral students and faculty at the SOE with a space to be in community and engage in activities that are centered around the wellness of our minds and bodies as life-long learners.

Wellness Retreat Schedule:

10:00-11:15 Towards Wellness & Wholeness in the Professoriate: Discussion among SOE Doc students, co-led by Ariana Romero and Dr. Alice Lee
11:15-12:00 Lunch for SOE Doc students & Faculty (Catered by UCR CRATE, lunch box meal with sandwich, chips and cookie)
12:00-1:00 Blossoming Our Lives: a time to paint plant pots for succulents that will be provided (SOE Doc students & Faculty)
1:00-2:00 Botanic Garden Walk: time to explore UCR's Botanical Garden (SOE Doc students & Faculty)


Event Details:

Location: UCR Botanical Garden Meeting Room (in person)
Date/Time: May 2nd
·     10:00am - 11:15am (doc students only)
·     11:15am - 2:00pm (doc students and faculty)

Food/Drinks
UCR CRATE Catering lunch boxes that include a sandwich, chips and a cookie. Assorted juices and water. Lunch orders are due next Friday, April 28. Please RSVP before then to ensure your lunch box!
