[Gradstudents] Employment Opportunity - Readers for Fall 2022 & 22-23 AY

Dear SOE Graduate Students:

The SOE is now accepting applications for multiple reader positions for Fall 2022. Additionally, the SOE is also accepting applications to join the 2022-2023 academic year reader pool. The duties and responsibilities of this position are to grade assignments and exams as directed by the course instructor. Attendance in the course itself is not required.

Estimated hours per week: 5-20 hours

Hourly pay rate for graduate students: $17.78

Priority deadline for Fall 2022 positions: 5pm Sunday, December 4, 2022

The online application has an optional cover letter, CV/resume, and any additional documentation you feel is pertinent to express your expertise (ex: prior experience, teaching evaluations, etc.).

Requirements for employment:
This opportunity is available to interested M.Ed., M.A. and Ph.D. students who:

*         Are making adequate progress toward completion of their degree

*         Have a cumulative grade average of 3.0 or above

*         Have received at least a "B" in a course similar to the course in question and/or

*         Have other academic or professional expertise in the subject matter

Note: domestic students are permitted to work up to 75-80% (30 hours/week) during the 22-23 AY. First year PhD students on fellowship may work up to 9 hours without an exception request. Should you have any funding questions, please email me directly.
