[Gradstudents] Fellowship Opportunities: DYP, GRMP & HSI-DD

Dear SOE Graduate Students,

Please find the attached call for the Dissertation Year Program (DYP), Graduate Research Mentorship Program (GRMP), and UC President's Pre-Professoriate Fellows (HSI-DD) awards. These awards are for domestic PhD students in their final years of their program. You can read more about the awards and criteria in the attached PDF. The internal department deadline for applications is 5pm on January 9th.

As in previous years, all applications require a research statement, diversity statement, and two letters of recommendation. Applicants will list two faculty names/emails for the letters of recommendation on the online application (links in email below). Faculty will then receive an automated email from Slate prompting them to upload their letter. Faculty - make sure you check your junk/spam folders for the automated email.

The Graduate Advisory Committee will review all applications and nominate top applicants to the Graduate Division. Recipients will be notified via email by the Graduate Division at a later date (TBA; likely Spring 2023).
