Please find the message below inviting you to join the three Dean candidates for a 30-minute student centered discussion. You are also invited to join their vision seminars, which all SOE faculty, staff and students are invited to. This is your opportunity to ask the candidates questions and provide your feedback.

Dear SOE Students,

As you may be aware, we are in the final stages of our search for the Dean of the School of Education (SOE). After many hours of work on the part of the search committee, we are excited to host three finalist candidates for the position. Each candidate will participate in a two-day-long on-campus interview that includes a campus-wide vision seminar. On behalf of Elizabeth Watkins, Provost & Executive Vice Chancellor, I invite you to participate in the Dean of the School of Education (SOE) search finalist interviews.

For your reference, I have outlined your group's designated timeslot with each of the finalists below. I have also included the information and the registration link for their vision seminars. Finalist interview sessions will be held in a hybrid format, and we welcome your participation in either capacity.

Please note that you do not have to prepare a set list of questions as these are second-round interviews and more conversational in nature. However, it may be helpful to think about the major issues you'd like the candidate to address and make sure your conversation allows the candidate the opportunity to do so.
