My dissertation examines the perspectives of parents of youth with disabilities. Specifically, I aim to understand their experiences of supporting their children's transition planning, communicating with teachers and staff, seeking outside resources, etc. To be more inclusive of culturally and linguistically diverse families, I hope to offer a Spanish version of the survey.
I am seeking 5 Spanish-speaking undergraduate or graduate students to assist with translating a brief 20-minute survey. Students would be asked to either translate the survey into Spanish, or back-translate the survey into English. Students would meet as a committee to discuss a finalized translated version of the survey. Upon completion you will receive a $50 Amazon E-Gift Card.
