[Gradstudents] Upcoming GradSuccess events and opportunities

Please find the attached flyers and descriptions below for upcoming GradSuccess events and opportunities.

  *   The Graduate Writing Center is hiring part-time (4 hr/wk) consultants for Spring! Pay is $20/hr and the position can be held in conjunction with a TA-ship or GSR. Applications<https://gwc.ucr.edu/graduate-writing-center-part-time-consultant> are due 11:59pm on March 6th (this Sunday!).
  *   GradSuccess is partnering with UCOP to hold an online workshop<https://gsrc.ucr.edu/workshops> on taxes and graduate students on Wednesday, March 9th at 2pm. The Zoom link will be provided on our website on Monday, March 7th.
  *   Interested in teaching at a community college? Sign up for UCI's California Community Colleges Internship Program! The application<https://tadp.ucr.edu/uciccc-internship> is due at 11:59pm on March 13th.
  *   Nominations are now being accepted for the Distinguished Teaching Award<https://form.jotform.com/220377770998169>! TAs can self-nominate and nominations are also accepted from undergraduates, fellow TAs, and faculty.  Please submit nominations by 11:59pm on April 10th.
  *   GradSuccess is hiring for summer and academic year 2022-23 graduate student positions! The application form will be available on our website <https://gsrc.ucr.edu> on Monday, March 7th and applications are due at 11:59pm on April 10th. We'll be holding two online job info sessions if you'd like to learn more: one on Tuesday March 8th at 4pm and another on Monday, April 4th at noon. You can register<https://ucr.mywconline.com> to attend, and hear from current and former GradSuccess employees about what it's like to work for us!
Also a reminder that the UCR Grad Slam Finals<https://gsrc.ucr.edu/grad-slam-2022> are taking place this afternoon at 3pm! There is a livestream you can view and you'll be able to vote for your favorite for the Audience Choice Award.
