Dear Graduate Students,

I am happy to announce the establishment of new SOE awards that honor our exceptional students, faculty, and staff. Yesterday, we circulated the awards and nomination links, and there are a few more included in this email. We are accepting nominations for excellence in research (self-nominations accepted), excellence in teaching, as well as outstanding staff and faculty/lecturers. The deadline for these nominations is May 9 at 5pm.

We plan to present these at the end of the year, and will follow-up with more information.

SOE Student Excellence in Research Awards
The Student Excellence in Research Award is awarded to up to two SOE students who have advanced to candidacy and have demonstrated a commitment to conducting research that aligns with SOE’s mission and values. Self-nominations accepted.

This commitment can be demonstrated through outstanding professional endeavors, top-notch customer service, or innovative solutions or contributions that make an impact to the school. No self-nominations accepted.
