[Gradstudents] Employment Opportunity - Reader Position

Dear GSOE Graduate Students:
The GSOE is now accepting applications for one reader position for Fall 2021
Application requires a cover letter indicating prior teaching experience, CV/resume and any additional documentation you feel is pertinent to express your teaching expertise (ex: teaching evaluations). The application deadline for this position is 12 pm on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
The duties and responsibilities of this position are to grade assignments and exams as directed by the course instructor. Attendance in the course itself is not required. The hourly pay rate for graduate students is $17.26.

This opportunity is available to interested M.Ed., M.A. and Ph.D. students who:


*        Are making adequate progress toward completion of their degree

*        Have a cumulative grade average of 3.0 or above

*        Have received at least a "B" in a course similar to the course in question and/or

*        Have other academic or professional expertise in the subject matter

Pamela Williams
An examination of reading, writing, academic language, and English language development strategies for teaching at the middle and high school levels. Covers all areas of the curriculum.
Experience with English language development at middle and high schools.
Up to 7 hours per week; Start Date and final appointment percentage is subject to when the appointment is confirmed and course enrollment numbers.
