Last October, I penned a letter of appreciation to educators, “Dear Teachers, You're Our Country's Greatest Hope Right Now<https://ucr.us16.list-manage.com/track/click?u=56d70dad2bc4603e5612002d9&id=9c0849b284&e=c392629c24>,” recognizing our nation's teachers for giving 110 percent every day, during a global pandemic. Since then, many of our teachers have made another challenging, emotional, and remarkable transition — returning back into the classroom to resume in-person teaching and learning. In honor of national Teacher Appreciation Week, and on behalf of GSOE, I want to thank all of our educators for continuing to dedicate yourselves to our children, families, schools, and communities, and recognize the critical role that you play in shaping our society. This week, and every week, we celebrate you.
