[Gradstudents] Town Hall - Follow Up

Dear GSOE Graduate Students,

Thank you to those that were able to join us at our first GSOE Town Hall meeting on February 22nd. As a follow up, please find the action items/discussion topics listed below:


  *   GSOE leadership will continue to provide Town Hall meetings throughout the academic year and all GSOE community members will be invited to join (faculty, staff and students)
  *   Leadership will review existing space options for graduate student lounge
  *   If students are interested in being more involved within GSOE, there is a current search for mini-GSA representatives (see attached flyer)
  *   We will continue to share opportunities for employment with graduate students as soon as they become available
  *   TA reimbursement procedures are forthcoming pending Employee Labor Relations approval; if you have questions now about reimbursement/expenditures, please contact Alison: alison.rodriguez at ucr.edu<mailto:alison.rodriguez at ucr.edu>
  *   Dr. Comeaux will follow up with Margarita's close friends to identify a way to honor her life and principled work
  *   Department contacts for potential TA positions:
