Dr. Jayakumar is offering a second section of EDUC 248W: Whiteness, Power, and Privilege on Wednesdays 7-9:50pm. The attached schedule reflects this latest addition.

As a reminder, enrollment is currently open. Please login to R'Web, check to see if you have any holds/resolve them, and email me if you have any enrollment questions/issues.

Subject: Spring 2021 Schedule & Enrollment

Dear GSOE Graduate Students,

Please find the attached Spring 2021 schedule for your use. The schedule is subject to change without notice. As a reminder, the schedule of classes went online last week and enrollment for Spring will begin February 8th. Note: this is the list of all 200-level courses the GSOE is offering graduate students. Please consult your program curriculum and faculty advisor for additional guidance.

Note: there are some 200-level courses not listed as they are for Teacher Education students only. This includes: EDUC 201B, EDUC 245J, EDUC 269I, and EDUC 283.

PhD students:

*        Don't have 12 units, but know of a topic you want to study in more depth? Enroll in EDUC 290 with a GSOE faculty member. Use the online form found on R'Grad via R'Web for directed study and attach a copy of the faculty approved syllabus.

*        Working on a research project with a PI and want academic credit? Use the form found here<https://education.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm1216/files/2018-08/educ_297_enrollment_form.pdf> to start the enrollment process for EDUC 297.

*        Need to complete your EDUC 302 requirement? Use form found here<https://education.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm1216/files/2018-08/educ_302_enrollment_form.pdf> to start the enrollment process.

*        Done with your mandatory coursework and studying for your written or oral qualifying exam? Enroll in EDUC 291 for 12 units with your faculty advisor.

*        Passed your oral qualifying exam? Enroll in EDUC 299 for 12 units with your faculty advisor.

*        See attached tutorial on how to increase the units for EDUC 291 and EDUC 299 from 1 to 12.

*        Finished your coursework and ready for your final defense? Apply for filing fee and only pay $188 for the term (one term only). Fill out the form on R'Grad via R'Web by March 1st.

MA students:

*        Done with your mandatory coursework and working on your thesis? Enroll in EDUC 299 for 12 units with your faculty advisor.

*        Finished your coursework and studying for your exam? Apply for filing fee and only pay $188 for the term while you study (one term only). Fill out the form on R'Grad via R'Web by March 1st.

MED students:

*        Finished your coursework and working on your capstone paper/project? Apply for filing fee and only pay $188 for the term while you write (one term only). Fill out the form on R'Grad via R'Web by March 1st.
