[Gradstudents] Fellowship Opportunity - Society for the Study of Social Problems

Dear GSOE Graduate Students:
The Society for the Study of Social Problems has opened the application for their Racial/Ethnic Minority Graduate Fellowship. This $15,000 award is for individuals that identify “as either American Indian or Alaska Native, Arab/Middle Eastern/North African, Asian/Asian-American, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, or, including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) from one of the aforementioned groups, accepted into an accredited doctoral program in any one of the social and/or behavioral sciences so as to expand their perspectives in the pursuit and investigations into social problems.”

Online applications must be finalized no later than 11:59p.m. (Eastern Time) on February 1, 2021. Applicants will be notified of the results by July 15, 2021. All applicants must be current SSSP members when applying.

I think I may have sent this to you before, but better safe than sorry. I came across a fellowship for doctoral students from the Society for the Study of Social Problems for minority scholars. They do have to join the society to apply which I believe is $33. Please pass along to our grad students.
