<b>UCR’s ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap) licenses <span style="color:red">will not be renewed</span>, effective June 10</b>. ArcMap will also be removed from UCR’s itopia virtual lab machines.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Quoting from an email Lily Barger at ITS sent to ArcMap users in February:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in">Last year Esri placed ArcMap / ArcGIS Desktop on mature support, with the product reaching end of life in early 2026. Starting July 1, 2024, Esri stopped issuing new or renewed licenses for ArcMap /ArcGIS Desktop. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in">ArcMap has been replaced with ArcGIS Pro. Many of our users have already made the switch to ArcGIS Pro and have adapted to the new platform.<o:p></o:p></p>
