<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt">UC GIS Week: </span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The inaugural UC GIS Week was held Nov. 17-19. Especially for an all-volunteer, no-budget, let’s-give-it-a-try effort, it was a success! Over 850 people
registered; UCR affiliates were well-represented among attendees and presenters. Our thanks to all who participated, especially our UCR presenters: Ahmed Eldawy, Andre Mere, Elia Scudiero, Emily Esposito, and Nic Barth.

information and GIS expertise, and a core member of our community - she’ll be missed!
