Please find attached the notes from the May 13 Geospatial/GIS meetup. They contain announcements (including the newly-available 2024 Hexagon imagery of California!), links for upcoming events, and a summary of the presentation.

Many thanks to Dr. Nan Li, who presented on research to map temporal and spatial variation in the soil organic carbon stock in Illinois.

Thanks also to all who attended the meetup, especially those who joined us for the first time - we hope to see you again!
The meetup in June will be a discussion session for faculty and researchers. There won't be a meetup in July, so the next meetup featuring a presentation will be held in August - date TBD.

I want to wish farewell to those who will be leaving UCR in June. (Feel free to let me know if you'd like to be removed as an email recipient.) Thank you for being a member of our geospatial community, and best wishes for the future!
