Our thanks to UCR History Professor David Biggs, who shared on his research on Penang and other Southeast Asian coastal cities. His research touches on history, human use of carbon, the culture of urban seaports, rising sea levels, regional economic and sustainability decisions, and the microchip supply chain. Please check out the notes and/or recording to learn more!
