[Geospatial] UC GIS Week submission deadline extended to October 17

Hello everyone,

In the email last Friday I said that the proposal deadline would not be extended - well, it turns out it has been extended, a few more days! Please consider submitting a proposal by midnight on Thursday to showcase your work or to ask for feedback from UC geospatial community members.

Good news! The deadline for submitting a proposal for UC GIS Week has been extended to midnight on Thursday, October 17.

Final call to present at UC GIS Week in November!


The deadline for submitting a proposal for a UC GIS Week presentation or map gallery item is midnight on Monday, October 14!


Share your accomplishments and inspire others through your mapping and spatial analysis at the 5th annual UC GIS Week event, being held November 19th - 21st, 2024.


All University of California affiliates and community members are invited to submit proposals for the following: virtual lightning talks (8 minutes); virtual presentations (15 minutes); virtual workshops (20-30 minutes); and maps or posters for display in the virtual gallery.  We invite works in progress and even conceptual ideas you'd like to get feedback on.
