[Geospatial] Reminder: Submissions for UC GIS Week due October 14

This is a follow-up to last week's email - there's only a week left for submissions! Feel free to use the attached graphic and flyer to help spread the word. Thank you!

We invite you to participate in the UC-wide GIS Week November 19th - 21st, 2024. We will celebrate all things mapping and geospatial.

If you are a researcher, student, alumnus, or community mapper, there is space for you to share your accomplishments and inspire others through your mapping and spatial analysis.

We invite submissions that aren't a finished product; they can be a work in progress or even a conceptual idea you are looking to get feedback on.

This year's UC GIS programming will be held virtually, with some campuses hosting in-person events. If you are a campus group looking to host an in-person event, please reach out to ucgisweek at gmail.com<mailto:ucgisweek at gmail.com>

This year we are looking for submission for the following:
- virtual lightning talks (8 minutes);
- virtual presentations (15 minutes);

- virtual workshop (20-30 minutes);
- maps and posters for display in the virtual gallery.
