[Geospatial] Notes from the Geospatial/GIS meetup, December 10

Hello all,



Please find attached the notes from the December 10 Geospatial/GIS meetup. They contain announcements, a summary of the presentation, and a couple of "mappy" song playlists!


Many thanks to our presenters - Daisy Herrera, Pedro Enrique Puentes, and Christella Maldonado - for sharing their important research on sites of Chicanx defiance and resistance in California.



Sad to report that the recording for the first 42 minutes of the meetup was lost. Both Zoom and ITS were contacted to troubleshoot, but with no luck. (Theories are that periodic campus network disruptions that day, and/or competing technologies in use during the meeting, led to this unfortunate outcome.) However, the recording for the last 24 minutes of the meetup has persisted.
