Our special thanks to Heiko Mühr, who journeyed down from UC Berkeley to give his informative talk about the history of German World War II captured maps and Berkeley’s project to make the maps more accessible. If you missed the presentation, I encourage you to watch the recording!



My thanks also to all who attended, including those who joined us for the first time.



Also attached is the flyer for Planet Imagery Day on January 23, as mentioned during the meetup announcements. Space is limited for this in-person event.



Our next meetup will be on Tuesday, January 16 when our presenter, UCR Psychology graduate student Liz Wilson, will discuss a psychological atlas of beliefs, values, and personality traits.


Please let me know if you have a suggestion for a presenter or topic for the February 13 meetup.
