SCOPE OF WORK

Repair a failed steam line.

IMPACT


The steam to greenhouse 1-3 is unavailable. Additionally, the autoclave in greenhouse 2 is out of service. Temporary heating has been placed in each location and will be checked by FS staff during the winter break.

Updates on the status of repairs will be provided as they are made available.

SCOPE OF WORK

Repair a flood in the mechanical basement.

IMPACT

This afternoon, the mechanical basement experienced a flood impacting the heating hot water pumps. As a result, Greenhouse 1, 2, and 3 experienced a loss of heat. Facilities Services immediately responded to the flood, and has restored most of the areas. Temporary heaters are being deployed in areas that remain impacted.

Repairs will continue early tomorrow morning to fully restore services to all locations. We will send updates with the estimated timeline of full recovery of all services as they are made available.
