UPDATE: Out of an abundance of caution in relation to supporting current issues with the ITS Data Center, the Planned Power Service Interruption scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, December 12, 2020 has been canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience this last minute change may cause.
The services related to this power project will be rescheduled for a later date and all impacted campus partners will be notified ahead of time.

December 12, 2020 Proposed Power Service Interruption Notification
Please be advised:
In continuing the preparation for the new parking structure in Lot 13, it will be necessary to perform electrical power work on the campus high voltage system in the project area. This work will require the following:
* Two (2) buildings to experience a service interruption (listed below) lasting less than 5 minutes in duration.
* Additional buildings (listed below) may potentially experience a service interruption lasting less than 5 minutes in duration.
* It is our goal to limit interruptions related to this electrical project. Facilities Services staff will be onsite to ensure all power returns to normal. Buildings with back-up generators will support fire and life safety systems and E-power circuits only.
Proposed Date: Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
POWER INTERRUPTIONS
The following buildings will experience ONE SHORT-TERM INTERRUPTION OF POWER between 8:00am -11:00 am. The power interruption will likely last from a few seconds to a few minutes.
* Minus (-) 80 degree and minus (-) 20 degree freezers will not be impacted during short -term power interruptions.

Concerned occupants should take the following precautions prior to December 12, 2020:
* If you have sensitive research equipment or systems you know can be impacted by power interruption and you have not connected them to uninterrupted power devices (UPS) and surge protectors, please plan to disconnect and turn off equipment for the duration of the day to avoid any damage.
* To confirm your equipment is connected to E-Power or Main Power, please reference the photos below.
o E-Power outlets are labeled with the prefix "EL".
o Normal Low Voltage Power (non e-power) outlets are labeled with the prefix "NL".
