Colleagues,

Beginning Monday, August 17, 2020, Facilities Services (FS) will continue partnering with UCOP to support the seventh and final visit of the Integrated Capital Asset Management Program (ICAMP). At the core of ICAMP is UC’s corporate need to effectively and efficiently acquire condition and risk information about the property assets of the university. This is taking place across all UC campuses over a large scale, multi-year process.

WHO

To ensure safety and security during the assessment, our Building Zone Management team will escort between 2-3 ICAMP project officials through each building listed below to perform a complete building assessment including building structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and FS asset strategy.

WHAT (IMPACTS)

The assessment will have minimal impact on research, classroom instruction or administrative operations as the focus will be concentrated on general space and behind-the-scenes mechanical locations within each building. However, every space, including labs, classrooms, administrative offices and other locations may be entered for the inspection.

To adhere to campus recommendations, our ICAMP team will wear protective gear such as masks/face coverings and following physical distancing guidelines when inspecting each building.
