Dear UC Riverside colleagues,

I hope that your semester has been a good one, despite the turbulence of
COVID.

As the term draws to a close, in the music department at Scripps College in
Claremont, we have a search underway for a one-semester lecturer in music
history to teach MUS110a: Music in Western Civilization: Antiquity through
Baroque, in FA 22. We are still in the process of reviewing submissions.

I’m sure that you know of many wonderful candidates who might be a good
fit.

Please post this announcement of the position in your department if
appropriate and circulate the attached position description to promising
candidates.

Many thanks,

Anne Harley

Associate Professor

Music Department
