Dear SEMSCHC colleagues,

Pomona College seeks one of our fine local ethnomusicology educators for
the position of visiting lecturer in Fall 2022.

A job announcement is attached. Please consider sharing it with your
advanced (ABD) graduate students and recent PhD grads.

We will begin considering applications soon (April 15), and those invited
to interview will be asked to do so and to teach a sample class within the
following two weeks.

Pomona's undergraduate students are great! Classes are characterized by
small class sizes and a mix of mostly non-Music majors representing
students from the various colleges in the Claremont Consortium.

We have arranged the two courses to run only on Tuesdays and Thursdays to
best accommodate the schedules of commuters in our local area.

Welcome to address any questions about the position of the college to me.
Thank you for your attention.

Gibb
