<span style="font-size:9pt;font-family:Helvetica,sans-serif">I’ve always enjoyed passing along treasures that I no longer need and picking up new (to me) items from friends and family. In a small way, this can help reduce waste and prolong the useful life
 of various items (clothes, games, puzzles, gear, small furniture, etc!) I also love figuring out new ways to support students in our department. I’d like to combine these ideas and pilot an Entomology Swap Meet/Fundraiser, hopefully at a time that it may be
 useful to incoming (or departing!) members of our department. I am tentatively thinking about running this pilot on the afternoon of Friday, September 20, but this is flexible if it’s a bad time for others. I’ve already discussed this idea with some colleagues,
 and together we’ve come up with the following model:<u></u><u></u></span></p>
