The Entomology Department at The Ohio State University is seeking<br>
applicants for a position of Assistant Professor in Urban Entomology. This<br>
position is part of a cohort hire between other units in the College of<br>
Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences that will focus on urban<br>
health and environmental problems that are differentially experienced by<br>
urban residents because of racial and/or socioeconomic inequities. We are<br>
particularly interested in applicants whose research focuses the ecology<br>
of urban insects and/or how insects and other arthropods respond to<br>
the evolutionary pressures that urbanization imposes. We also strongly<br>
encourage applicants from diverse and under-represented backgrounds<br>
to apply.<br>
