<span style="color:black">staff</span> provides oversight to regional natural resource programs including wildlife, ecology, hydrology, soil, fisheries and aquatics, botany, threatened and endangered species, minerals and geology, timber sales, silviculture,
and sustainable operations. The Region 5 EP <span style="color:black">staff</span> is responsible for environmental compliance, FOIA, and forest and project planning. The PPSG is one of three inter-regional Planning Service Groups in the Forest Service Planning
Service Organization that will manage and complete the tasks related to the land management plan revision process for forests and grasslands under the direction of the forest/grassland supervisors and regional foresters. The PPSG will serve Regions 5, 6, and
10, which include National Forests in California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska.</span><u></u><u></u></p>
