Hello everyone,

Our new calendar of outreach events

now active. As you can see, we already have some events coming up where we
need some helpers to represent the Department, including:


   - R’Garden Fall Festival

   - Mission Vista Academy

   event in the courtyard — this is a good training opportunity if you want to
   come see how outreach works)

Please look out for emails about these events from our new Outreach
Coordinator, Haruka Yuasa (welcome, Haru!) and the Department Displays,
Exhibits, and Outreach committee members.

Information on hours tracking and travel awards will follow.

We really appreciate your help at these events throughout the year, even a
few hours, as we try to grow the GROWTH Initiative and maintain an active
presence in the broader community.
