[Entm-researchstaff] 111th Anniversary Celebration Silent Auction

Dear colleagues,

As you know, the 111th anniversary celebration is just a week away!  As
many of you know, we will be running a silent auction during the open house
on Saturday.  We already have some amazing items donated or to be donated
(with many, many thanks to the generous donors!! You know who you are!  :)
).  The proceeds from the silent auction will be used to directly support
the 'proof of concept' year for our GROWTH initiative, which will provide
financial support for graduate student outreach + research activities.  You
will hear more about it next weekend!  For now, I am writing to send a
'last call' for donations.  If you have a 'secret skill' (arts, crafts,
photography, etc), want to support your favorite local business by donating
a gift certificate, or have another item that locals, guests, or alums
might love, please consider donating. I will unfortunately be out of the
office next Tuesday and Wednesday, so please just let me know if you have
something that you would like to contribute, and plan to bring it on
Thursday or Friday.  We want to have enough bidding sheets ready to go, AND
to acknowledge your gift in the final program.
