Greetings Everyone!
I am reaching out today because EH&S is excited to announce that we will be
hosting another



Wilderness First Aid / CPR-AED / EpiPen Training

by

Sierra Rescue


held at the EH&S Lyceum on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026 from 08:30 AM to
05:30 PM.
This training is especially beneficial to any groups conducting field
research and provides detailed knowledge and practises of the types of
injuries that often occur in the field with the limited availability of
medical resources in such events.
The CPR-AED training will provide participants with an official
certification that will remain valid for two years.
The EpiPen training will fulfill the requirements for Lay Rescuer training
to administer epinephrine via epinephrine auto-injectors for first aid
purposes according to the California Section 1797.197a and will remain
valid for two years.
NOTE: All groups on a field trip are required to have at least ONE person
trained in first aid.
The training is one 8-hour course with a 1-hour lunch break.
The cost of the training is $175 per person.
Meals will not be provided so participants will need to make arrangements
for their own lunch. EH&S has a vending machine and is walking distance
from Glenmor, Starbucks, and the Glasgow Dining Facility.
Below is the Qualtrics form to register for the trianing. Once received and
the COA has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email of your
registration in the training.
Space is limited (10 spots remaining) so sign-up quickly! It is uncertain
if we will host another one of these training events in the near future so
be sure to sign up if this could benefit your work and if your current
certifications are expiring soon.
