The 98th Annual State Leadership Conference of the California Association
Future Farmers of America (FFA) will be held March 21-24 at the
Ontario Convention Center. This is a huge recruiting event not only for
CNAS but all the major agricultural colleges and universities across the
country. The conference anticipates hosting 7000 high school students,
advisors, families, and industry partners. Events include workshops,
educational sessions, awards ceremonies, and career expos (recruiting).
CNAS has two booths dedicated to recruitment and research. Current students
will be present, but we need faculty and staff involvement. *We need
faculty to represent CNAS at the research booth, talk to prospective
students, and discuss your research.*
The tabling times/career expo schedule is below (full schedule here

We would love to have you at any or all of the days/times. We hope to
faculty present in two-hour blocks, but if you can be there longer or even
a full day, that would be very helpful.

*Why*? Recruiting prospective UCR students to various agriculture-related
programs, e.g. plant biology, entomology, earth sciences
