Good afternoon. I would like to share multiple positions that we have
posted at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) for work on
screwworm flies. More detailed descriptions for each position are given in
the job posting, but a brief description is listed for each below:

Personnel in these positions will be involved in vegetation and arthropod
sampling, bioassays, and spatial imagery data collection.

The idea candidate for this position would have a strong background in
machine learning and model development.

The ideal candidate for this position would have a strong background in
chemical ecology and volatile organic compound analysis, with a prefer
background in insect chemical ecology.



Please note, the start date for these positions is currently listed as Sept
15, but is dependent upon the final grant start date.
