Hi everyone,

I hope all is well and you are enjoying the last bits of summer. I am
really looking forward to starting at UCR in January 2026!

I am reaching out to ask for advice or leads on housing in Riverside? I am
planning to rent for my first year at UCR. I would also like to be close to
campus, so if you all know of any available rentals or have suggestions on
neighborhoods, that would be great. Additionally, I am looking for
pet-friendly rentals for me and my dog (20 pounds, 3 years old, very
friendly).

Next month, I will be traveling to Riverside over the holiday weekend
(October 10-13) to look for housing. I am also planning to attend the
faculty meeting that Friday afternoon and I look forward to seeing you all
there!
