I’m excited to share that the Department of Entomology at Cornell
University is inviting applications for a tenure-track *Assistant Professor
position in Field Crops Entomology*. Given your expertise, I believe you
might know current or former students or post-docs who would be strong
candidates for this position. If so, I’d be grateful if you could share
this opportunity with them by forwarding the application link below. In
addition, if you are aware of individuals who would be a particularly good
fit, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share their names and

The successful candidate will be expected to develop an internationally
recognized research and extension program focused on Integrated Pest
Management (IPM) of grain and forage crops, including corn (>1 million
acres in New York State), alfalfa hay (500,000 acres), soybeans (350,000
acres), wheat (150,000 acres), and other small grains. We’re particularly
interested in candidates who will build trust and communicate effectively
with field crop farmers and other stakeholders, and who will collaborate
extensively with colleagues at Cornell to achieve its Land Grant mission.
