Dear fellow CEDA Members,



You may recall that in November at our meeting in Phoenix, I mentioned that
we’ve had several years of successful training of graduate students and
postdocs through our leadership development program, Professional
Advancement Career Training (PACT).  We are proud of this program and the
role it has played in helping many past participants grow their soft skills
and expand their network, and quite a few have even landed jobs out of it.



We're currently recruiting for the next class. Applications are open until
June 1 and *given the current state of federal funding for research*,
anything we can do to help set entomology students and postdocs ahead of
the pack seems particularly prudent right now.  I’ve attached the handout I
shared in November and more information on how to apply is available here:
https://www.entsoc.org/advocacy-initiatives/pact. *Would you please share
this with your academic community*?



Thanks for considering it and helping to spread the word. A member of our
senior team is the project lead on this (Dr. Erin Cadwalader,
