****A MESSAGE FROM MAIL SERVICES - GOING FORWARD, WE WILL HAVE THE COA
FORMS NEXT TO THE RECEIVING COMPUTER****

Dear Departments,

Please be advised that, effective *July 13*, USPS has updated its pricing
and mailing requirements. These changes affect how specific types of
outgoing mail must be handled.

*Summary of Changes:*

   -

Any item sent in a *padded envelope*, a *box*, or any item with a *tracking
number* (e.g., Certified Mail or USPS Tracking) *must now include a COA
   form*.
   -

Items mailed in a *regular envelope* or *standard flat envelope* *do not*
require a COA — *unless* the mailing is being sent *in bulk (200 pieces
   or more).*

To help with this transition, we can *drop off COA forms* to your
department so they can be attached to the applicable mailings.

Since we aren’t always sure who handles mailing in each area, please help
by sharing this information with anyone in your department who might be
involved in preparing outgoing mail.

If you have any questions or need additional COA forms, feel free to reach
out.

Best regards,
*Lauryn Carter*
