Hi All,

I’m not sure if you’ve seen the communication yet (below), but Oracle is
transitioning to a new system called *RSSP*, and we’ll be moving along with
them. The interface looks quite different, but the functionality and
information required to complete a request remain largely the same.

I’ve been using RSSP for a few weeks now and was part of the
development/rollout team, so we’re slightly ahead of the curve. *Please
make time to attend one of the upcoming webinars* to ensure you're up to
speed before the official transition on *August 4th*.
A Key Change to Note:

In the previous system, a lab team member (requester) could add the PI as
an approver *before* the request reached me (as the transactor). *In RSSP,
that is no longer possible.* Once a requester submits a request, it
comes *directly
to me*. If a PI or team member wants to review requests before submission,
they will need to *submit the request themselves*.
