All,
We need everybody with a storage cage in the burned shed to meet up at the
shed on *July 15 at 8:00 a.m.* with the contractor to go through your
contents to determine if things are (a) salvageable as is and returned to
you, (b) need washing (and then returned to you later), (c)
non-salvageable. For the non-salvageable stuff you will need to work with
Bill to figure out the replacement value (maybe "we" have historical PO
records, OR go online and get estimates). Some of you have already been
doing the latter. Regardless, the contractor will be in charge of making
the lists for each of you to submit to the insurance folks to place a
reimbursement claim.

I suggest you show up with good shoes to protect your feet, a pair of
gloves (like gardening gloves) and a lab coat or clothes you don't mind
getting dirty.

If you cannot make it, please be sure someone from your lab is there to
make decisions. If nobody shows, I suspect the stuff will get dumped with
no chance of reimbursement.
