[Entm-researchstaff] Entm Admin Office Updates

Good morning!

I'd like to take a moment to congratulate @Kaitlyn C Banda<mailto:kaitlyn.banda at ucr.edu> on joining the Entm Admin unit as the successful candidate for our Travel/Chairs Assistant position! Some of you may remember Kaitlyn from her time as a temp covering front desk duties while Krista was on maternity leave, as well as when she covered the Travel/Chair position during the recent vacancy. We are excited to welcome her as a career employee and as an integral part of the Admin Unit.

Fun Facts about Kaitlyn Banda:

  *   Kaitlyn graduated from high school in 2022 and has been attending Riverside City College to complete her general education requirements while working part-time in retail.
  *   She comes from a large family with 7 siblings, ranging in age from 3 to 24 years old.
  *   Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her family, camping, baking, and reading.
  *   She has a keen interest in business administration and is looking forward to building a long-term career at UCR.

Other News:

  *   @Krista M Zavala<mailto:krista.zavala at ucr.edu> will be on leave until April 14th. During her absence, Kaitlyn will be the main point of contact for front desk duties. If Kaitlyn is unavailable, any member of the Admin Unit will be happy to assist and direct you to the right person.
